大概意思是一名中场的视角,从头到尾都是球,妹有字幕,自动生成西语字幕或者自动翻译可以勉强拯救一下

Xabi Alonso on his time at Liverpool:"Rafa (Benitez) came from Valencia with his 4-2-3-1system with which he had a lot of success, he believed in that system and I think it also suited the players we had at the time. I think we were missing a differential player a bit. We had very good players, but we lacked thatcreativity factor a bit, that player that can break a game with an individual play. Perhaps we didn't have that type of player, but we had a very good teamand in the games against our rivals and in Europe we were very competitive easts and we beat everyone at Anfield: Chelsea, Barça, Madrid... We had some great years."

"The success of English teams in Europe during those years changed the league a bit. There were 3-4 years in which the Premier League was more dominant in Europe. Mourinho's Chelsea was a great team, they had a frenetic rhythm and they would take advantage of every ball you lost, they'd kill you on the counter. United had Cristiano, Rooney, Giggs. Those were some great years in the Premier League. And we competed with all of them in direct games, but that wasn't enough to actually win the league which would have been historic for us."

Xabi Alonso on Messi and the Clásicos: I've suffered a lot against Messi, he's hurt me a lot. Like all the players in my position, given that he knows how to get in the space we leave behind us and he interprets the game so intelligently, it hurts you. Mourinho, Sergio (Ramos) and I wracked our heads thinking about how to handle him with. How was he hurting us? How could we control that? Sergio was the leftsided central defender; I was the left sided defensive midfielder. And there was Messi and then right behind him at right interior was Xavi. And they would tease you to come and get the ball from them. Xavi would hold the ball, I'd go for it, Messi got into the space I had left behind me and Sergio had to leave his position and go after Messi and they would exploit the space that Sergiohad left behind him with a run from the winger. So it was a matter of deciding how much we wanted to control Xavi s pass to Messi because they could then hurt us with that pass towards the winger. We started to get control that situation when we decided that I wouldbe the one to track Messi and that Sergio would keep his position. Xavi would "invite me" to take the ball from him, but I stayed with Messi and thus Sergio didn't have to come out of his position and from that we could control him pretty well. We had to defend deeper and had less ability torecover the ball, but we prioritized handling Messi. But it demanded so much from us. And when we managed that, I think that those Barça Madrid games became more leveled. But you knew that you couldn't get distracted for even one second because he was lethal.

Xabi Alonso on the first leg of the Barça — Bayern semifinal in 2015: "Our plan was based on the idea that their three forwards were great and we had to do everything we could in order to limit the amount of balls that got to them. And the best way to do that was to press them aggressively as high as possible. Ter Stegen was playing, with the quality he has… Pfff...And he had to be the only player we couldn t mark directly. He was the only free player they had. We pressed high, in their half of the pitch, basically man to man, without giving them time to build and get the ball to their forwards. And Ter Stegen was the one that complicated our plan. He started playing the ball long, but they weren tlong balls, they were long passes towards Suárez and he knew how to handle that and they had a few of these moments in the first 20 minutes or so and it could have been 2-0 already so we had to change our plan so that we wouldn t be left with individual battles in defense, even if that meant that the fonvard that was furthest from the ball was left alone. And from that point on the game was pretty leveled between the two sides. We didn't have a lot of chances, but we also didn't suffer. Until the end when the game broke for Barça with Leo's first goal and then the second one. We didn t have the maturity to not throw ourselves in attack after they scored.

"We didn t have any "punch" up top, we struggled to hurt them. But the game was leveled until Messi broke it and we lost our heads a bit after he scored, we didn't say"ok, we leave losing by one goal and we'll fight for the tie at home."We wanted to turn the score around right away and then they scored another two goals and that was that. But the way in which we came up with the plan for the game was something very enriching for me.'
